Our organisation is committed to full independence and transparency in all technical assistance activities. We have no conflicts of interest with respect to any dual HIV/syphilis test manufacturer or supplier.

Our Mission

Our purpose is to provide impartial technical assistance to governments, helping them identify and implement the most cost-effective diagnostic solutions for their national programmes. We receive no commercial incentives, commissions, or benefits of any kind from manufacturers, their agents, or distributors.

Our Approach to Manufacturer Relationships

We work with all WHO-prequalified dual HIV/syphilis test manufacturers on an equal footing. No single manufacturer is preferred or favoured by our organisation. Product recommendations are made solely on the basis of local market conditions, including:

Availability of supply in the relevant country or region
Competitive, transparent and sustainable pricing
National regulatory approvals and programme requirements

This approach ensures that governments receive advice driven entirely by public health need and value for money, not by commercial relationships.
